Marlon is a seasoned monster slayer of much renown, and leader of the Stardew Valley Adventurer's Guild.The guild was founded some 25 years before the farmer's arrival, after Marlon received permission from the Order of the Knights of Pythagoras.

Marlon is a respected adventurer, not only in Pelican Town, but to other guilds as well. He has strong relations with Gil and Magnus, as well as adventurers from the Castle Village guild, including Camilla, Alesia and Isaac. He is also good friends with Krobus, whom he hid in The Sewer for protection from other adventurers who might wish him harm.

Description	Marlon tells the player that they have proven their worth and that it's time they met Krobus. Krobus is under the protection of the Guild, kept hidden from both the town and the Order of the Knights of Pythagoras. After the introduction, Marlon gives the key to the sewers to the player, which now allows them to visit Krobus whenever they want.
